Two Laufer, Dalena, Cadicina, Jensen & Boyd, L.L.C. Attorneys named 2008 New Jersey Super Lawyers
Two Laufer, Dalena, Cadicina, Jensen & Boyd, L.L.C. Attorneys William Laufer and Fredric Knapp, were named 2008 New Jersey Super Lawyers in the April issue of New Jersey Monthly.
The designation is based on surveys of more than 35,000 lawyers across New Jersey who have been licensed to practice for five years or more. The surveys are conducted through the independent research of Law & Politics magazine. Only 5 percent of the lawyers in New Jersey are named Super Lawyers.
William Laufer, who chairs the firm's family law practice, is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and a past president of the Morris County Bar Association. He has a wealth of experience as a divorce mediator and in resolving complex matrimonial cases involving child custody, equitable distribution, alimony, child support and premarital agreements. Mr. Laufer began his distinguished career in the personal injury field, where he honed his litigation skills. As one of the firm's primary litigators, he also handles commercial litigation and personal injury cases.
Fredric Knapp leads the firm's labor and employment law practice, representing both private and public entities in contract negotiations, arbitrations, employee disciplinary matters, and employment litigation before state and federal courts, the Division on Civil Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New Jersey Department of Personnel, and the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission. He is a current trustee of the Morris County Bar Association and former chair of its Labor and Employment Section.
